About The Good the Bad and the Interesting

So, I'm back. I know a lot of you have missed me, I have been out of town for Macworld and got in very late last night.
::The Good: I got an e-mail from Canon today saying that "Based on our initial examination, we will start the necessary repairs at no charge to you." Also, I am now officially a published photographer, meaning, the issue of Risen my photo is in is printed and now in circulation! [Special insert from the Monster®: If you should find yourself compelled to look for it, it's got Q'orianka Kilcher (plays Pocahontas in The New World, coming out later this month) or Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D. on the cover. We did a two-cover print.]
::The Bad: So due to popular demand I am going to tell you a little story about a Monster® named Regina. One day, (Christmas) I received a lovely new set of 4 martini glasses. After making some martinis, I placed the used glasses near the sink, for future cleaning and storage in the cabinet. After I walked away, I heard a crash and when I looked in the kitchen, the Regina Monster® had struck, leaving me with a lovely set of 3 glasses. Now, the irony in this is that this unique Monster® has an aversion to odd-numbered things. It would seem, however, that her attraction to destruction overrides this aversion to odd numbers. Shortly after this augmentation of my martini set, the Monster® decided to try her hand at some home improvement. Allow me to explain. Our kitchen has two fluorescent lights covered by large hard plastic sheets (standard rental issue). Well, recently the lights have been flickering (as fluorescent lights will do when they are failing) so the Monster® decided she would fix them by POKING at them while standing on a chair. You can see where this is going. . . after one or two jabs, the cover came crashing down and broke. Now we have two flickering lights, and one broken cover. For the time, I am recommending that she hold off on her "do-it-yourself home improvement" line of books until we fine tune her techniques.
::The interesting: I ran into lots of people on my trip up north. Jacy was kind enough to put me up for the week, and I got to meet up with some old friends in Cupertino. The Monster® is having another birthday tomorrow so everyone be sure to call her since she is having a hard time with this one. [Special insert from the Monster®: I'm saying goodbye to my twenties! It's distressing!]
Thats all for now kids, more to follow as I decide what to post on.
