About 40 night
So I know this is ridiculously short notice, but
second annual 40 night is going to be held this wednesday the 21st. (Thats
tomorrow night for those of you who are temporally challenged). After reading
over the e-mail from last year, I decided it put the reasons for the party best,
so I am including it, in its original form below (Only the date was changed from
22-21). Note that the party was held on this very same wednesday last year, can
you feel the magic?
I thought I would like to let you and your loved
ones know about an
exciting opportunity to invest in your future.
. . . just kidding. We
are taking it back to the old school this
Wednesday night (9/21). We
are calling it 40 night. The rules are simple,
you must drink at least
1 40 oz beverage out of its original
container (Alcohol is not a
requirement). No television, no apple, work, or
computer related talk.
I hope this will help all of us get back to
what's simple and good in
life. Too often do we allow ourselves to be
consumed with arbitrary
things that do not matter. Life, Love, Friends,
and Family are all that
is truly important at the end of the day. As
you all know I start
school on this Friday and I will probably lose
touch with some of you
under the increased work load. I would
love if you could all come. The
good times will start at 9:00 pm at my house.
You may bring your
favorite lawn chair if you so desire and any
music that you think would
be fitting for the evening. E-mail me if you
need directions.
