About the trip
Well, I know this post is late, but I made the
drive up north a few days ago. I have been truly lucky to find a friend to show
me around the city. I suspect I will be learning the angles for some time to
come. The drive was swift and w/o problem. I left at 3:30 am on thursday morning
against wise council, and I am glad I left when I did. There was zero traffic
and with the aid of some tasty beef jerky and a Vivarin, I was wide awake for
the whole drive. Adjusting to being alone up here has been difficult and I miss
everyone already. Fortunately, I am going to soon be surrounded by wonderful
people up here and I know everything is going to work out (it has so far).
Please send me comments or e-mails to let me know how life in SD is, I may not
get back right away with posts, but trust me, they will be read and appreciated.
