I cannot divulge any other details without having to gouge your eyes out, and frankly, you all have lovely eyes, so I can say no more. What I can tell you, is that I made a praying mantis friend. He is real, and we were totally having a nice moment together. I miss all of you and your lovely eyes. -webpablo out! Friday - August 10, 2007Webpablo is having some work done. So, a lot of the links on my page are busted right now. . .Sorry. Also, my update schedule seems to be busted as of late. . so sorry. I am in the process of moving myself, my site, and all my physical stuff all around town, so pardon the dust and lack of updates, but I will be back and better than ever very soon!

January, webpablo will be coming home. I will be flying in Saturday morning and
flying out early Monday morning. Because my time is limited, I will be spending
much of it with my family, but I promise to make time for my friends as well. I
will have some free time Saturday night and maybe Sunday evening. I miss you all
very much, and I look forward to seeing you all very soon! Please call or e-mail

![]() -webpablo out! Wednesday - June 13, 2007Webpablo is full of griefFor those of you who have not heard, a man was
arrested in San Diego for the murder of Brittany Monet Hart last week. I had
been clinging to the thought that she may still be alive since her body has not
been found. I wont go into detail, but the authorities are now certain that she
is dead. Brittany, I love you, and you did not deserve any of this. I have grown
tired of looking at all the photos online of her missing persons flyer, so here
is my favorite photo of us together.
![]() -goodbye Brittany. Friday - June 01, 2007Webpablo feels helplessI am helpless and doing the only thing I can
think of to do anything about it. A dear friend of mine Brittany Monet Hart has been missing in San
Diego for over a week now. If you see her, please contact Detective Cody
Gilstrap with the San Diego Police department. I know very few people read this
site, but the more eyes that are looking for here the better. My thoughts are
with her and her family.
Friday - May 18, 2007Webpablo is tanTan you say?! But how?! Well, I will tell my
lovely webpablo readers. Cat and I decided to take a little trip to Hawaii for a
friends graduation. This friends name is Sabrina. She and Cat have known one
another for a long time and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to attend her
graduation. Congratulations Sabrina, we are both very proud of you. As for
Hawaii, I had an absolute blast. For the first few days we spent a lot of time
in the city, and let me tell you, Hawaii. . .it was not. But after a few days we
ventured up to the north shore and out to the beaches, out for a hike, etc. We
surfed, body surfed, skipped rocks, ate shave ice, jumped off of rocks,
snorkeled, and even punched a shark in the face*. So I am sure you want photos.
Well, look no further than the webphoto link at the top of this page.
-webpablo out! * not even remotely true. Wednesday - May 02, 2007webpablo Still has a BFFI thought it worth mentioning that since I moved
up to the bay area, I have been coping with the lack of access to my core group
of friends in San Diego. I would like to take this moment to thank my best
friend for being there for me whenever I need him, and whenever I don't. I was
in the city the other day and as usual we talked about life, the old days, and
the days to come. He has vowed to no longer read webpablo, so this post really
isn't for him in so much as it is for the rest of the world. So, unless you have
15 years of OTJ experience, please stop sending me applications to be my best
friend, the job. . . is filled.
-webpablo out. Saturday - April 28, 2007About CatSo, it turns out the definition of soon is up for
interpretation. This update comes soon after lunchtime. Now I know it has been a
little while since I have posted and it is largely because my life is completely
different. I wanted to gauge the webpablo compatibility of this new life of mine
to see if it upheld my original mission statement. As your luck would have it my
faithful readers. . . it does! My life will continue to liberate you from
original thought, and now does so without the San Diego after taste. The FDA has
not approved this new revision of my life for mass consumption so you must use
it at your own risk. Oh yeah, the point, sorry, forgot about that. So I would
like you all to meet Cat. Cat and I have been dating since July of last year.
She is one of the main ingredients in this new life of mine (and now yours.) She
is a wonderful woman, and I assure you, she takes very good care of webpablo.
The stuff on our noses may look like guano, but is actually something like a
Bioré strip. So, welcome back, and if this new post leaves you with a rash.
. . or new limb growth. . .or any other side effect for that matter, keep your
mouth shut, I don't want the FDA knocking on my
door.
How do I end these things again? oh yeah! -webpablo out! Thursday - January 11, 2007About down timeSo, it looks like the server ¡webpablo! has
been on, crashed, and ate everything. I wasn't able to upload it until now.
There is a crap ton going on with me and I SWEAR to post soon, that is, unless
the server crash was a sign that ¡webpablo! should be no more. . .
-webpablo out. Sunday - November 19, 2006About sleep deprivationyeah yeah, I know, get over it. I have been very
busy. I have actually had a lot to post about lately, but have not had the time
to do anything about it. I have a few photos that were taken with the intent of
posting about them, but this one was just too good. Last night, I lost my
virginity. . . .to target. . . It hurt a little, but she was gentle. 8 hours and
a messed up back later, I was with Wii. So when I say I lost my virginity I of
course mean my "camp out for a video game system" V-pin. It really wasn't so
bad, there were not paintballs, BBs, or fists flying in my direction so I take
it that I picked a nice one for my first. The Wii is glorious, I think I might
already have tennis elbow after one day. Oh, and I will be in San Diego this
monday-wednesday so, if you want to get together, just give me a call. The photo
below says it all.
-webpablo . . . ZzZzZzZzZz Tuesday - October 10, 2006About the new flatSo, I understand a few of you were a little
confused about my last post. So here is the
breakdown,
summer camp= sweet new job in Cupertino +staying= not coming home. not coming home from my sweet new job in Cupertino. Now that you are all clued in as to my whereabouts, I get to fill you in on all the wonderful trivial details about my new life in the bay area. Jeremy and myself are living together in a really nice two bedroom apartment in Sunnyvale. Its about five miles away from work, and has all the amenities I could possibly want. The bad news, is that I sold all my stuff in San Diego before I left. The good news is, I had to buy all new stuff which makes for a sweet new place to live. I am loving my new job, and am in the process of establishing a social existence. I will be coming home the weekend of my birthday in November, and again for Christmas. If any of you want to come and visit me here, flights are usually crazy cheap via southwest. We have a sofa bed, so, you have a place to sleep, all you need to do is fly up, and buy me dinner . . . its easy see! Well, thats all I have for you all now, I love you all and miss you very much. * -webpablo out.
* This statement only applies to people who actually know webpablo in the real world. If you have stumbled across this page via google or some other search service, webpablo neither loves you, nor misses you, no hard feelings okay? Tuesday - September 26, 2006About PermanenceOkay, so I know you all went to summer camp of
SOME kind at SOME point in your life. Odds are, at some point, you have been so
elated with a given experience that you begged and pleaded with the powers that
be (usually parents) to never send you home. Now, imagine for just a second,
that your parents actually said okay. Now at first thought, you might think this
was great, but eventually reality sets in. The realization that home, is no
longer home, becomes evident. Mom and Dad, aren't coming in their white Ford
Explorer to pick you up. The backpack full of clothes that you wore all week,
are now your permanent wardrobe, and the steady diet of Mountain Dew and
Butterfingers starts to sound. . .less appealing. The good news, and there is
good news, is that you get to hang out with your really cool camp counselor on a
regular basis. Arts and crafts time, is now
all
the time, and sleeping under the stars is still just as cool as it was a week
ago. This is the conflicted state of mind that I write to you in today. I am
smelly and excited, tired and forward looking. My head is held high, and I am
proud to tell you all, that I am staying at summer camp. . . forever. Thanks Mom
and Dad.
-webpablo out. Monday - August 28, 2006About stress effectsWell hello there, trusty loyal webpablo readers!
As you might understand, having my general living expenses paid for is very
stressful. Okay maybe not, but the uncertainty of my life is starting to wear on
me. The good news is that I should know in one week what is going to happen with
my life, the bad news, is that the stress of wondering has given me (as you can
see below) my first grey hair. Now one might think that my impulse would be to
A: pull it out B: use grecian hair formula for men (To blend the grey away) or C: shave my entire head EXCEPT the one grey hair Well, as you can see, I went with D: take a photo of it and blog about it. Let me know if you think I made the right decision.
-webpablo out. Sunday - August 06, 2006About Nike + Great AmericaSo, I realize that most of my readers. . .
probably aren't anymore. But that wont stop me from updating anyways! So, the
reason I haven't been around is because as mentioned before, I hate to post
about uncertainty. I still have no idea what will happen on September 15th with
the job, but I do know that I am having a phenomenal time up
here.
About Nike +: I started running again, don't worry, my marathoning days are over, I have only been running 2-3 miles a few times a week. My knees still ache a little, but i think at this point its psychosomatic. I have been running with the sweet new Nike + running adapter with my nano (thanks Monster®). I really wish I had this thing back when I was training, but alas technology, like cats, comes when it is ready, or when robots force it upon us, but i guess even then it is still coming when it is ready. . .I digress. About Great America: I went to Great America today for the first time, and had a whale of a good time. I think it has been a good five years since the last time I road a REAL roller-coaster, I don't count DisneyLand. . .sorry Disney.
-webpablo out. Sunday - July 02, 2006About our most valuable assetWe all know the saying "time is money." We also
also know, "a penny for your thoughts?" The later of these two statements has
always driven me crazy. Years ago, when I wanted to know what someone thought, I
started to ask, " A moment for your thoughts?" Since I have gotten here to
Cupertino, I have been thinking more and more about the time I have here. What I
need to do, and who I should spend my time with. Each minute that passes
represents a moment that we will never get back. No matter how much money we
make, or how long we live, time is our one true continually diminishing asset.
It is disgusting how we squander it sometimes. Television, video games, people
we don't love, and people who don't love us back. Is there any greater offense
to oneself than to give our time for something worthless? This is why I propose
a statement change. "A moment for your thoughts?" How better to show someone
their worth and the worth of their thoughts? I value every moment I have on this
earth. I lost sight for a while the importance of my time, but I assure all of
you, this will not happen again. I will keep you all posted on the job and my
life here. So far, I am loving my new job, and I am surrounding myself with some
truly wonderful people. I am making moments every day I am up here, and working
for something I believe in. Life is wonderful, life is random, and most
importantly, life makes sense.
-webpablo out. Saturday - June 24, 2006About the tripWell, I know this post is late, but I made the
drive up north a few days ago. I have been truly lucky to find a friend to show
me around the city. I suspect I will be learning the angles for some time to
come. The drive was swift and w/o problem. I left at 3:30 am on thursday morning
against wise council, and I am glad I left when I did. There was zero traffic
and with the aid of some tasty beef jerky and a Vivarin, I was wide awake for
the whole drive. Adjusting to being alone up here has been difficult and I miss
everyone already. Fortunately, I am going to soon be surrounded by wonderful
people up here and I know everything is going to work out (it has so far).
Please send me comments or e-mails to let me know how life in SD is, I may not
get back right away with posts, but trust me, they will be read and appreciated.
-webpablo out! Tuesday - April 25, 2006About this man
This man wants to cut your roast beef, and he DOESN'T want to wash his hands. Allow me to explain. Saturday I helped shoot a wedding for a family friend. At the reception, I made a trip to the little boys room where I noticed an apron hanging on the door of one of the stalls. Thinking little of it, I went about my wee. To my dismay, the gentleman (clearly dressed to work in food service), walked out of the stall, passed the sink, and out the door. Yes, there was an episode of Seinfeld that dealt with this very issue. Now we all know how disgusting it is for ANYONE to leave the bathroom without washing their hands. It is worse, yet, when it is in a stall, because unless he was peeing sitting down, we know there was wiping involved. Worse yet still! HE WAS SERVING OUR FOOD! Now, worry not my appetite-ruined friends. Upon finding this out, my tact-impaired mother sprang to action, and informed the cousin of the bride (her friend) of our troubling discovery. This sparked a chain reaction which ultimately led to the young man walking, head hung low, to the bathroom where, we like to hope, he finally washed his hands. Now, this is where the story would normally end. This one, however, goes on. So those of us at the table got to talking about the signs posted in restaurant restrooms that remind employees to wash their hands. To see if this was blatantly ignored, I made another trip to the little boys room to check things out. To my surprise, there was no sign reminding employees to practice the luxury of hand washing. There WAS, however, a sign reminding men that if they found themselves pregnant, that they should not consume alcoholic beverages as they are known to cause birth defects. Thank god I read it when I did, I poured the rest of my margarita down the drain right away! -webpablo out! Sunday - April 16, 2006About 3.17So yeah, what is 3.17 might you ask? A date of
significance perhaps? well, yes. . . it's St Patrick's day, but that's not the
point of this post. To save the edge of your seat, I will let you in on the TRUE
meaning of 3.17. It represents the amount of money, in U.S. Dollars, that I just
spent on a gallon of gas. Well, 13 to be exact, bringing the fill-up of my
little Honda to a grand total of $41.21. If you drive an S.U.V., I am laughing
at you, right now. HA! I do so to make myself feel better about my $40 fill-up.
