webpablo is the Son of Man

Happy Halloween everyone! I have been a big fan of the René Magritte painting The Son of Man for some time now. For some reason, I always thought that if I lived in the time of hats, I would have sported a bowler hat like it was going out of style (and I would have been right you see. . . because they did.) The beautiful Apple was actually painted by the lovely and tallented Cat. I was hoping to place in the costume contest at work this year, but alas, my costume was a bit highbrow it would seem, as half of my colleagues thought I was Charlie Chaplin. Oh, and then I lost to Chewbacca. Story of my life. . .

P.S I will be in San Diego this weekend for a day and a half for a friends wedding. I will also be in town the weekend of the 16th for my birthday. More on this to follow later.
